Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations, New York

As I begin my role as Permanent Representative of Bangladesh to the United Nations, I do so with a deep sense of responsibility and purpose. Bangladesh’s story is one of resilience, dignity and hope: values that speak directly to the promise of the United Nations. My priority will be to advance a multilateralism rooted in justice, equality, human rights and inclusive participation, where peace is built not only through agreements among states, but through the voices, rights and aspirations of people. I look forward to working with partners across the UN system to strengthen dialogue, defend human dignity, and ensure that Bangladesh continues to contribute with conviction to shared solutions for a more peaceful, fair and sustainable world.
